Why Comment Moderation

TTAG received a perplexing comment that Intense Debate held for moderation. It’s from Zac who tried to write on Air or Heir?: “Prove it or shall I just take a lonely bloggers word for it?”

Prove what, Zac? Also, you need to insert a comma before “or” because “Shall I just take a lonely bloggers [need an apostrophe there, bud, to indicate possession] word for it” is an independent clause.

I found your blog “Kettle Black”. I think I understand the second part of your comment. It’s called psychological projection.

“I’ve let go of a long standing entanglement with the person that knows me best in this world only to find myself in a sea on loneliness and despair, and to accompany that are bed fellows, anger and confusion. A perfect concoction of ingredients to cause me to be apparently unbearable as it is hard to find company that will tolerate me for long” (http://zbogen.blogspot.com/2010/06/hello-again.html).

Dolly Lama, Dahli Lama, Dehli Lama . . .

Stick to Games, Fellas

It’s obvious that the English language is not your specialty . . .

Of coarse!

H’m. Closed-course heavy equipment racing, maybe? Interesting. That wouldn’t've occurred to me. And that spurious comma surely builds suspense while we wait to learn what the tough leaf springs are made of!
